MATCH DAY!

Kids waiting for the ball to drop:)
Today was the day the little white envelope was passed out. I must say that although this whole ritualistic ceremonial stuff gets lost in my mind it did make the day very exciting. At about 11:50 they have ALL the students come up and get their little white envelopes and then at Noon exactly they sound the horn and everybody rips open their envelope and an uproar of people laughing, talking hugging, dialling as fast as they can on their cell phones and cheering. It was very similar to the ball dropping on Time Square. Without further adieu we matched at...............................

Swifty with his little white envelope!

It hasn't happened yet?!

If only all of you could see Buster's head on a daily basis (even the Dr. comments about how many bruises his head has) you would assume he has already had stitches. Nope, at least not until last week. Buster was climbing on the bunkbed, fell off and hit his head on the rocking horse. A dumb place for the rocking horse you say, well I agree, but thought it was safer than in front of the window. He was a total trooper and even enjoyed his new hat!

Buster heading to the doctor

Buster with his new hat waiting for the numbing medicine to take effect. He laid down on his tummy and let me tell him stories while they stitched him up. He was so excited, that he didn't move at all just like mama told him too.
Isn't he soooooooooooo cute!
Excuse the red eye we have yet to put photo editing software on the new computer.

Is this life with 3?

We have absolutely loved having our little bambino, however I have just one question for all you moms with 3 or more kids. Since our sweet little guy came, everyone has had a month long cold, which brought about a small stint in the hospital for our bambino. Kb and buster have both had stints of puking and if the baby is not awake in the middle of the night Kb has growing pains or buster is throwing a tantrum because he needs something that is non decipherable through his screams. So the question is. . .

Will we always have someone sick and awake in the middle of the night now that we are a family of 5?

Our Favorite Christmas Present!

This year Christmas seems to have come and gone, and we hardly had time to enjoy it. However, on Saturday December 27th, we received a Christmas present better than any other, ( I am sure on future December 27ths he will wish he'd waited!).

Hyrum Scott
joined our family
weighing in at 6 lbs 14 oz (our biggest so far)
Length 19 inches

We are all having a lot of fun with our new baby brother. KB loves holding him, changing his diaper, brushing his hair and doing anything else we may allow. Buster loves washing his hands so he can hold baby brother (sometimes I think he holds baby brother just so he can use the hand sanitizer, either way clean hands are never a bad thing)

So far, life with a new little baby has been great. It has been nice to have Swifty home to spend time with KB and Buster, so they don't feel left out, and it has been great to have so many friends bringing us dinner and taking the kids to play for a little while. We are looking forward to a month of visiting grandmas and grandpas starting soon.
